Frequently Asked Questions

What is concierge lactation care?
Concierge lactation care is a deeply supportive, highly personalized. intentionally guided experience where you’re not just getting a one-time appointment — you’re getting an IBCLC who works with you through all the transitions.
You get:
• Personalized, baby/mother-specific clinical assessment
• Feeding plans that are sustainable and fit into your life seamlessly
• Support between visits (yes, you can message me!)
• A calm, judgment-free space to ask anything
• Time, attention, and guidance in the comfort of your own home
It’s breastfeeding support done with intention, excellence, and compassion.
Do you take insurance?
I operate as private pay to protect the quality, depth, and integrity of the care I provide.
That said, most families are able to receive partial or full reimbursement by submitting a superbill to their insurance.
What is a superbill and how does it help me?
A superbill is a detailed medical receipt I generate for you. It includes CPT codes, diagnosis codes, and everything your insurance needs to review your claim.
While reimbursement is never guaranteed, many of my clients have successfully gotten funds back . I always do my best to work with you if your insurance company requires more documentation.
How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
You can:
• Upload it through your insurance portal
• Fax it to the claims department
• Or call your insurance and ask, “Where do I submit an out-of-network lactation claim?”
If you’re not sure how to speak their language, I’ll guide you. I want you to get every dollar back that you can.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, absolutely. If you want concierge care but prefer to space out payments, just mention it during the FREE Intro Call — I am happy to accommodate.
How do I schedule a consult?
When you purchase a package you will receive a link in your e-mail to schedule your first appointment and I always reach out with additional information and guidance. Once your first appointment is scheduled, we will schedule your follow-up appointments at the Initial visit. Certain packages get priority scheduling as well.
If you're unsure which consult fits your situation best, start with my free 20-minute call. We’ll get clarity together and figure out exactly what you need.
What’s the best way to contact you?
For general questions, email is best.
For clients who are currently in a package, you’ll have direct access to me through text and voice notes for quick support, reassurance, and guidance between visits.
Do you offer virtual consults?
Yes. Virtual consults work beautifully for:
• Prenatal breastfeeding education
• Pumping & bottle-feeding support
• Sleep + feeding rhythm guidance
• Tongue tie assessments, especially if you are outside my travel radius
• Follow-ups and personalized care plan reviews
Sometimes virtual is even better — you’re in your own space, comfortable, and we can focus deeply.
Do you support tongue ties?
Yes. I provide:
• Comprehensive tongue/lip tie assessments
• Feeding accommodations
• Pre-/post-release support
• Coordination with trusted providers
• Realistic expectations and step-by-step guidance
You’ll never walk this process alone — I support you through the entire journey. I have years of experience working with infants with tongue ties and have refined my skills to provide quick relief, sustainable feeding options and comprehensive care no matter which route you take!
What ages do you work with?
I work with families from pregnancy through toddlerhood.
Whether it’s latch issues, pumping, oral function, solids, weaning, or sleep — I’ve got you.
